  • Can I request specific songs to be played at my wedding?
  • Will I get live music at my cocktail hour?
  • How many breaks and for how long does the band take? Will you play a tape or CD in the meantime?
  • Does the group have an emcee that will act as Master of Ceremonies and announce the introductions, cake cutting, bouquet and garter tosses?
  • What is your payment policy? For how many hours?
  • Deposit amount? Due when? Balance due when? Forms of payment accepted? Cancellation policy?
  • When should I give you a list of my bridal attendees and special requests?
  • Do you play overtime? How much?
  • Do you provide a contract outlining exactly the services you will be providing? Never, under any circumstances, should you fail to get a contract in writing.
  • How do you interact with other vendors? From the wedding planner, to the caterers, to the photographers, to the photo booth, you want a band that works as a team with your other vendors and is willing to make announcements for them.
